Dauman Displays were established in the UK in 1977 and were instrumental in helping to set up "POPAI", the industry recognised association who are the only non-profit trade association exclusively committed to serving the interests of all those involved in point-of-purchase advertising. We immediately began to win awards.
Since 1977 over 150 awards for outstanding merchandising display achievements have been won.

POPAI
So who are POPAI? and why are their awards so important within the industry?
Point of Purchase Advertising International is the industry trade association exclusively committed to serving the interests of all those involved in point-of-purchase advertising including brands, retailers, designers/producers, materials and technology suppliers and agencies.
They were founded in 1936 in the USA and in 1988 in Europe. The Association helps members make point-of-purchase advertising work effectively, serves as a source of market research information, and contributes to training and educational standards. The Association also helps keep abreast of public policy issues, promotes the P-O-P industry through public relations and its members at national and international conferences.
