WHSmith Category Displays

Dauman Displays worked together with BBC Worldwide and WHSmith to develop category displays for Audiobooks in two areas of WHS stores - books and audio. The displays had to be simple yet effective, ensuring that the Audiobooks (CD's and or tapes) showed as much of the front cover as possible, instead of the usual "spine-on" display.

We designed a "parasite" display for the book section, which fits exclusively onto WHSmith's shelving and displayed the CD of the appropriate book title. The other display unit, for the audio section, was produced as a mini "waterfall" style unit to display both the tape and CD of the top 10 titles. Both units have been very well received and are expected to increase sales of Audiobooks in WHS stores.
