Our History

We are dedicated to creating alliances with you our customer to ensure your total display requirements are always achieved.

Dauman Displays International started business in the UK in 1977, but the company had been established in the U.S.A. since the mid 40's.

The UK Company was originally created to ensure that the major clients of the US parent company (Revlon and Max Factor) were provided with the same high quality services as they expanded their operations into the UK.

Very quickly afterwards the UK Company was expanding its business by introducing its own customer base whilst continuing to provide exemplary services to the original US parent company's customers. Dauman Displays were also instrumental in supporting POPAI to set up its operation in the UK and were of course founder members of POPAI UK.

Dauman Displays UK won its first POPAI award in 1978 and has gone on to win hundreds of awards across the years since. For more details see our awards & recognitions page. Amongst these coveted awards is a unique double award, for the launch of Gillette Sensor, where the client required 100,000 displays split evenly in the UK and the U.S.A. Across the twelve week production period 800 units per day were being manufactured and packed off. The launch was an enormous success for Gillette and Dauman Displays were awarded the highly sought after POPAI display of the year award for both the US and UK companies, truly a first.

As the company developed and prospered, the business relocated to newer premises but stayed within its west of London location. Design, administration and prototype capabilities were added to its services (previously handled by the US parent company) and we continued to add new clients to its list. Amongst these were Boots The Chemist who awarded Daumans their flagship No.7 cosmetic range relaunch of 1995 and again, after a very successful launch, awards were won by both the UK and the US companies.

Dauman Displays international is now a division of the PPE Group of Companies, having been acquired in April 2006.
